Overview
This workshop is for prospective mentors and is designed to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and practical tools to build and sustain effective mentoring relationships. During the workshop, we will examine what mentoring is (and isn't), focus on each key phase of the mentoring relationship (beginning, middle, and end), and familiarise ourselves with practical tools to support the mentoring process.
Participants will also learn about the standards required of mentors operating within the Imperial mentoring scheme, how the matching process works, and the ongoing communication process in place to support mentors and mentees.
