The objective for the two Imperial students was to cycle and drive more than 3,000 miles across eight countries in Western Europe over a period of 17 days. The modus operandi involved driving to each key city or site, where they would camp and then use the cycles to explore the surrounding area.

Starting in the UK, the pair crossed into France where they visited Versailles and Bordeaux before heading to Barcelona in Spain. They then made their way along the south coast of France to Verdon, Nice and Monaco, before passing into Italy where they headed to Florence, Maranello and the Ferrari Museum, and Lake Como. They then crossed Switzerland to arrive at Strasbourg in France, before passing through the western corner of Germany to the Netherlands and Amsterdam. Finally, the pair travelled through Belgium, before heading back to the UK.
