Imperial Business School is delighted to host Dr Poornima Luthra for the launch of her new book, Relational Leadership, co-authored with Dr Sara Louise Muhr. 

About the event 

Relational Leadership argues that sustained high-performance comes less from a leader’s title or strategy, and more from the quality of the relationships they build, nurture and repair over time. Drawing on rigorous research and real-world experience, Dr Poornima Luthra and Dr Sara Louise Muhr, authors of Leading Through Bias, explore what it takes to lead through difference, ambiguity and change, and set out the daily practices – trust, collaboration and honest connection – that hold high-performing teams together. 

Poornima Luthra is a senior faculty member at Imperial Business School and a globally recognised practitioner-academic, keynote speaker and advisor on leadership, inclusion and organisational culture. She is the author of Can I Say That? and The Art of Active Allyship, and was ranked among Thinkers50’s top 30 emerging management thinkers in 2023; her work has twice been named among the year’s 10 best management books. Her most recent book, Can I Say That?, received an award at the Business Book Awards.
