| Higher rate | For duties requiring a larger element of preparatory work, such as most types of tutorials and seminars. | £31.81 | £32.45 |
| Lower rate | For duties requiring little preparation or marking, such as demonstrating. | £19.55 | £19.94 |
The above rates of pay are:
1) increased annually in line with cost of living increases determined by Imperial College through its local collective bargaining machinery.
2) exclusive of any entitlement to holiday benefits.
