Overview

Managing research groups presents unique challenges that differ from traditional line management. It requires a nuanced understanding of academic career pathways, research environments, and the specific needs of academic and research professionals.

Drawing on The Academic’s Success Guide and in collaboration with the Early Career Researcher Institute (ECRI), this session is designed to support early career researchers. It is intended for Line Managers managing research groups. By the end of the session, participants will be able to:
