Financial Support Available
  • Carers fund support for attending work-related events
    The University offers a scheme which may entitle you to a small grant if you have caring responsibilities, so you can attend events and conferences to develop your career.
  • Fees remission
    Staff who register for a part-time postgraduate degree at Imperial may be eligible for a reduction in their tuition fee through the tuition fee remission scheme.
  • Study Loan
    The University offers an interest-free loan to help with the costs of part-time study. It helps to encourage staff to engage in study that will further their career aspirations.
Your Leave Options
  • Study Leave
    A member of staff studying for a course relevant to their existing job or future career within the University may apply for study leave.
  • Sabbatical Leave
    You may be eligible for sabbatical leave, which is available for personal or academic refreshment.
  • Elsie Widdowson Fellowship Award
    Available to all academic members of staff, the award allows them to concentrate fully on their research upon returning from maternity, adoption, surrogacy, and/or shared parental leave.
