We are delighted to invite you to the MBA admit weekend with Imperial Business School, from Friday 29 May to Sunday 31 May 2026.

The purpose of this weekend visit is to provide incoming Full-Time MBA and Global Online MBA students with the opportunity to connect with your cohort and engage in interactive sessions. These activities are designed to deepen your understanding of the programme and enrich your overall MBA experience at the Business School.

You will also have the chance to network with the wider Imperial community and explore both the South Kensington campus and the city of London.

The Weekend Highlights

Friday 29 May, 10.00 - 21.00 BST

• Welcome to Imperial Business School and cohort icebreakers
• Introduction to the Programmes team
• Student Life at Imperial
• Careers at Imperial - Meet our Careers Consultants who will support you throughout your MBA journey
• Campus tour with Student Ambassadors
• Evening activity: Celebrate at the Sunset Festival, an annual student celebration that promises a feast for the senses with delicious food, refreshing drinks, and music that reflects the rich diversity of global cultures (tickets will be purchased for you in advance)

Saturday 30 May, 09.30 - 22.00 BST

• A faculty workshop led by Dr Poornima Luthra
• Alumni panel discussion
• Evening activity:  Celebrate your MBA offer with your guest, cohort and wider Imperial community at the The Circle, where you will capture some of London’s most iconic sights

Sunday 31 May BST

• A free day to explore London if you wish

Travelling to the event 

You will need to organise and pay for your own travel, but we would be delighted to offer you accommodation at a hotel in South Kensington, as well as a stipend to assist you with your travel costs for attending the event. 

Accommodation and guest information

You will receive a two-night complimentary stay at The Kensington Hotel on Friday 29 May and Saturday 30 May, which also includes breakfast. Please select the number of nights you would require when registering.

You are also welcome to bring one guest to stay with you during the weekend and join the Saturday evening celebration in London. You will be able to select this option on the registration form. We advise you to speak to your guest about organising their own itineraries for the Friday afternoon and Saturday, although they will be invited to attend a campus breakfast session in the morning.

Stipend terms

There are no specific requirements to qualify for the travel stipend i.e. this can cover transportation and/or tourist visas. As long as you attend the event, you will receive the full stipend amount based on your departure region when you enrol. This will be subtracted from your tuition fee upon joining the programme following receipt of your departure country. If you are fully sponsored or have a full scholarship let us know as this works slightly differently.

• Travelling from within the UK - £100 stipend
• Travelling from Europe -  £250 stipend
• Travelling from the Rest of the World - £750 stipend
