
Franco Sassi
Director
Professor Franco Sassi is Chair in International Health Policy and Economics and Director of the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation at Imperial College Business School. He is also a Senior Health Economist at the OECD (on leave).
Professor Sassi's research focuses on economic analysis of health services, the economics of chronic disease prevention and measuring inequalities in access to healthcare. He is Principal Investigator and Project Coordinator on the European Commission funded Horizon 2020 project Science & Technology in childhood Obesity Policy (STOP).
He is editor of Health Taxes: Policy and Practice (World Scientific, 2022), lead author and editor of several OECD publications and over 150 peer reviewed publications on the economics of chronic disease prevention.

Jack Olney
Executive Director
Dr Jack Olney is Executive Director of the Centre for Health Economics & Policy Innovation at Imperial College Business School, where he leads all fund raising and operational activities. Before joining the Business School, he obtained a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from Imperial College where he developed mathematical models of HIV dynamics to better understand the allocation of investment in resource-limited settings for the Gates-funded HIV Modelling Consortium.
