The Country Lab bridges science, policy, and business to drive country-level sustainability transition. Focused on leadership, organisational capability, and systemic impact, it translates world-class research into scalable change programs. Working with governments, banks, and businesses, the Lab co-creates programs that help economies implement effective, inclusive, and scalable pathways toward climate-resilient and competitive growth.

Country Lab Lead
Ibrat Djabbarov
Ibrat Djabbarov is a Research Fellow at the Leonardo Centre, where he leads the Country Lab. His research investigates how systemic, status, and strategic transformations emerge and evolve, primarily through the interplay of novelty and marginality. He also studies organisational prosociality and purpose, including how organisations pursue social impact alongside economic goals.
