A community committed to gender equity

Imperial College Business School is committed to helping talented women advance their career through undertaking business education.

Whether it’s through the teaching and research of our world-leading women faculty or the career pathways that our alumnae and students take, we are passionate about inspiring women to succeed in their education and the wider business world.

Imperial College Business School supports a wide range of gender parity initiatives and provides significant support to female students and alumni such as the Women in Leadership scheme, 30% Club membership and sponsorship of the Forté Foundation.

Worldwide there is an under-representation of women pursuing postgraduate management education and this has a knock-on effect on the number of women who hold senior director roles within corporations. At Imperial we are committed to gender parity on all of our programmes because we know that having more women in leadership roles will have a long-term positive impact on business.

As women, getting an MBA is going to help you gain the confidence to go after leadership roles. It’s also a great way to reignite passions you probably didn’t know you had, especially if you’ve predominantly worked in one sector. You find out so much more about yourself, about your skills and strengths.

I was absolutely thrilled to be awarded the scholarship with Imperial’s Executive MBA programme and am very excited to be a partner with both Imperial’s and 30% Club’s goal for more women in executive and board level leadership. The MBA has and is continuing to provide me with a broader business skillset and awareness which complements my current skill sets.
