Student callers wanted!
Applications for the Spring 2022 campaign are now closed!
What are the telephone campaigns?
Our telephone campaigns are an exciting opportunity for students to make an important contribution towards attracting essential philanthropic support from alumni of Imperial.
During each campaign, we aim to contact thousands of alumni, sharing news and upcoming events at Imperial, and inviting alumni to support the College through a range of giving opportunities. These donations will help to fund projects across the College, particularly scholarships and financial support for current students. For more information about our current fundraising priorities, visit the Giving homepage.
The telephone campaign isn’t just about fundraising; it is also a great way for Imperial to stay in touch with its alumni and build a long term relationship with them. Alumni enjoy hearing about what it is like to be a student at Imperial today, and reminiscing about their own experiences.
Join the team!
Every year the College recruits a dedicated team of trained student fundraisers who are passionate about Imperial and enjoy the opportunity to engage with the alumni community. The Spring 2022 appeal ran remotely for three weeks, from Monday 7 March to Saturday 26 March.
The telethon is a great opportunity to boost your CV, and the professional skills you will develop are highly valued by employers. We will support you with training throughout the campaign, and you will have the opportunity to speak to alumni who studied a similar course and who have lots of careers advice to offer. It's also a great networking opportunity, not only with other current students but with alumni as well.
Applications are made through an online application form. The deadline to apply for this role is Wednesday 16 February.
Interviews will be held from Tuesday 22 February - Thursday 24 February.
Students who are successful at the interview stage must attend the compulsory paid training, a combination of on-demand webinars and live sessions taking place between Friday 25 February and Sunday 6 March.
