School Leadership
The School’s leadership team is responsible for shaping the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of Imperial Business School. It includes the Dean, Vice Deans, Associate Deans, Heads of Department, the Faculty Chief Operating Officer, and the Director of Faculty Finance.
Together, they form the School’s Management Board, working collectively to ensure academic excellence, operational effectiveness, and alignment with Imperial’s wider mission.
Professor Peter Todd
Dean, Imperial Business School
Peter Todd joined the Business School as Dean in September 2024. His academic expertise lies in information technology and innovation management, spanning computer science, psychology and management. He has previously been Director General (CEO) and Dean of HEC Paris, and Dean of the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University in Canada.

Professor Markus Perkmann
Vice Dean, Research & Faculty
Markus Perkmann is a Professor of Innovation & Entrepreneurship and the Academic Director of the Imperial Enterprise Lab. He is an expert on university technology commercialisation and science business. He teaches and mentors on the MBA Entrepreneurial Journey and the GMBA capstone. In this role as Vice-Dean (Research & Faculty), he helps shape the research environment across the school, oversees faculty hiring and promotion, and contributes to the overall strategy of the school.

Professor Chris Tucci
Vice Dean, Education (interim)
Christopher L. Tucci is a Professor of Digital Strategy & Innovation at Imperial Business School, Interim Vice Dean of Education, and Co-Director (Education) of I-X, Imperial’s AI and digital initiative. He was Founding Dean of NEOM University’s College of Business & Innovation and previously held the Chair in Corporate Strategy & Innovation at EPFL, where he also served as Dean of Management. His research focuses on digital strategy, business model innovation, and crowdsourcing, and he will become President of the Academy of Management in 2027.

Professor Sankalp Chaturvedi
Associate Dean, People & Culture
Sankalp is a Professor of Organisational Behavior & Leadership at Imperial Business School. He is also the Associate Dean, People & Culture and co-director of the Gandhi Centre for Inclusive Innovation within the School. He is responsible for leading in the development, promotion, and delivery of an Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) strategy.

Professor Cloda Jenkins
Associate Dean, Education Pedagogy and Innovation
Cloda is a Professor of Teaching in the Department of Economics and Public Policy in the Imperial Business School. In 2023, she was appointed to the role of the Associate Dean and she is responsible for ensuring that we are continuously striving for excellence in what we teach, how we teach and how we assess.

Professor Ramana Nanda
Associate Dean, Enterprise
Ramana is a Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance and Associate Dean for Enterprise at Imperial Business School. He directs the Institute for Deep Tech Entrepreneurship and leads the Deep Tech theme at Imperial’s Global USA hub. His research explores financial intermediation, venture capital, and innovation finance.

Professor Eduardo Andrade
Head of the Department of Analytics, Marketing and Operations
Eduardo Andrade is a Professor of Marketing and the Academic Director of the MSc Climate Change, Management and Finance. His teaching and research focus on how our understanding of consumer psychology and behavioural sciences can help consumers, companies, and policymakers promote more environmentally sustainable and healthier consumption habits in the marketplace.

Professor Kevin Corley
Head of the Department of Management & Entrepreneurship
Kevin Corley is a Professor of Management and PhD Director for the Management & Entrepreneurship department. His expertise is in how individuals and organisations approach change, and how leaders can turn uncertainty into opportunity. As teacher and coach, he equips leaders with tools for strategic thinking, adaptability, power and influence. He combines academic and industry experience with a career-long focus on organisational change.
Department Operations Officer: Andrea Fincham
Professor Richard Green
Head of the Department of Economics & Public Policy
Richard Green has been Professor of Sustainable Energy Business at Imperial Business School since 2011. He previously worked at the Universities of Cambridge, Hull and Birmingham, and has spent time on secondment to the Office of Electricity Regulation and to the World Bank. His research on the implications of decarbonisation for electricity markets often involves working with Imperial’s scientists and engineers.

Professor James Sefton
Head of the Department of Finance
James Sefton is a Professor of Economics at Imperial Business School and Principal Investigator on the ESRC project ‘Changes in the Distribution of Resources across Generations in the UK and US’. He co-directs the MSc Financial Technology and previously held senior roles at Winton Capital Management and UBS. His research covers intergenerational equity, pension policy, housing markets, and retirement finance.

Richard Johnson
Faculty Chief Operating Officer
Richard joined Imperial Business School in January 2022 and offers strategic leadership and operational oversight to all professional services and support functions of the School. He is a highly experienced leader in the higher education sector, with a track record of developing and delivering on the global strategy of top-tier business schools and universities. He has previously worked at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Washington University.

Helen Oakley
Faculty Director of Finance
Helen is a qualified Chartered Accountant and joined from London Business School, where she was Director of Financial Planning & Analysis. Prior to that she spent some time in the city as a management accountant at Deutsche Bank and Bank of America. She is a graduate of Imperial.

The Central Operations / Dean’s Office team is responsible for the coordination, planning, and delivery of the School’s Management Board, ensuring it operates effectively and supports strategic decision-making.

Megan Irving
Executive Assistant to the Dean
Megan is responsible for managing the Dean’s diary and travel, coordinating meetings and events, providing strategic reporting information and supporting the smooth running of the School’s Management Board. She acts as a key point of contact for the Dean’s Office and the Dean and ensures day-to-day priorities are well managed.
Dimitrios Kraniotis
Director of Operations and Planning
Dimitrios leads the School’s Central Operations and Dean’s Office teams. He works closely with the Dean and School leadership on agenda setting and strategic planning for the Management Board and Advisory Board. His remit spans governance, operational planning, academic department operations, faculty support, and School-wide coordination and planning.
