At the core of the Leonardo Centre’s activities is the GOLDEN Sustainability Dataset, developed in collaboration with the GOLDEN for Impact Foundation.
To date, we’ve recorded more than 2.6 million sustainability initiatives extracted from over 85,000 corporate sustainability reports published by more than 23,000 companies across 100+ countries.
Through advanced AI applications, our algorithm 'Da Vinci' identifies each sustainability initiative described in corporate sustainability reports and categorises them according to the UN Sustainable Development Goals by the type of corporate behaviour and their key beneficiaries.

The Leonardo Centre’s Data Lab team work with colleagues and stakeholders to prioritise a range of research applications and tools to exploit the data for best impact.
