Choosing to pursue an MBA is one of the most important decisions you will make and is a substantial investment in yourself.
Many of our students fund their studies through multiple funding sources. We offer a wide range of awards, including a number of full scholarships to the most talented applicants. We’ve also provided information about the different financing options available to you.

Paying your fees
Full information on how to pay your fees will be communicated after you have accepted your offer. To secure your place, a deposit of 10% of the tuition fee is required. This is part of the full tuition fee and not an additional cost.
Tuition fees cover the length of the programme and core reading and study materials.
Fees do not cover accommodation and expenses, costs incurred as part of optional internships or exchanges, supplementary texts and study materials, Careers Club membership (£10 per club for the year).
Making your payment
You can pay your MBA tuition fees in one instalment per academic year, or in two instalments per academic year as set out in a Regulated Credit Agreement - this option is available if you are self-funding. Further information on paying in instalments can be found in our postgraduate payment terms.
Receiving your invoice
You will receive an email invoice from the Tuition Fees team within five days of accepting your offer and will need to pay the deposit within 30 days of receiving this invoice. Failure to pay this in time may result in your offer being withdrawn.
The fees for both UK and international students are the same.
1 Deposit: The non-refundable confirmation deposit counts towards the cost of the programme.
Global Online MBA Scholarships
Imperial Business School is pleased to offer significant scholarship funding to our most talented applicants. We’re also proud to offer a wide range of awards that support diversity. Self-funded candidates are automatically considered for all scholarship schemes as long as they meet the eligibility criteria, entry requirements, and application deadlines. Scholarships will be awarded throughout the admissions cycle but only a limited number are available, so we recommend applying in an earlier round.
Some of our scholarship awards require video submissions, the details of which will be sent to you via email once you have received a formal offer for the programme. For further details on each the awards and corresponding timeframes please select from the following list:

Successful candidates are eligible for a 15% bursary on tuition fees for the Global Online MBA programme.
Eligibility
All alumni from Imperial College London are eligible for a bursary towards MBA tuition fees.
How to apply
Imperial College London students or alumni who submit their application for the Global Online MBA within one of our admissions rounds and receive an offer will automatically receive this award. Recipients of our Imperial Loyalty Bursary can be considered for other scholarship awards as well.
There are a limited number of Loyalty Bursaries available, so we advise that if you are eligible you should submit your application in an earlier admissions round.

The Military & Public Service Scholarship is designed to facilitate the transition of exceptional leaders from armed forces or public sector careers. This scholarship is offered across our MBA suite to empower these individuals by providing the resources and opportunities needed to take the next step in their leadership journey at Imperial Business School and in their chosen industry.
Eligibility
To be considered for this scholarship, applicants must be able to evidence how their current or recent career in military or public service roles have shaped their perspectives to date, and how they intend to leverage these unique insights in their MBA at Imperial Business School. They will need to communicate clear examples of growth and development within their service, and demonstrable future potential in their transition. The strength of the application, interview, and professional experience to date will all be considered.

Our institution is also proud to award discretionary scholarships. These are in recognition of exceptional candidates and/or those who will provide distinctive perspectives to our community.
All candidates are considered for discretionary scholarships, and you will be approached by our Recruitment & Admissions team after receiving an offer if we believe you are a suitable recipient.
Financing your MBA
Many of our students fund their studies through multiple funding sources, combining personal resources with education loans and scholarships. We have listed some of the options for you below.
Please note that we do not act as a credit broker to any of the loan providers listed below and are not responsible for providing the loan or assessing your eligibility. Further details of eligibility requirements, interest rates, and other key terms of the loan are available by visiting their respective websites.
Funding options
If you are a UK or EU student who meets certain criteria, you can apply for the Postgraduate Master's Loan from the UK government. See the gov.uk website for more information.
The US Federal Loans Scheme allows various different types of loans to assist students with the cost of their studies.
Lendwise is a specialist loan provider dedicated to education finance for ambitious students looking to fund their postgraduate studies at top universities. All nationalities are eligible to apply, and applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Individual banks, building societies and other lenders offer study loans.
Prodigy Finance is a loan provider for international postgraduate students at the world’s top business schools. The Prodigy Finance loan is available to full time students. You will be eligible to apply for the Prodigy Finance loan once you have a firm offer from us.
Some of our students are either wholly or partly sponsored by their employers. To gain the support of your employer to sponsor your MBA studies, it’s important to build a strong business case that demonstrates how the programme can help you and your organisation.
You need to persuade your employer that funding your education would be a good business investment.

There are several externally funded scholarship options available to Full-Time MBA students including The Chevening scholarship. You can find details of further non-Imperial scholarships here.
You should consider what personal resources are available to you and evaluate your income, assets and your lifestyle expenses. Personal resources reduce your dependency on loans and other financing options.

If you have completed the Mergers & Acquisitions or Private Equity programmes offered by Imperial Executive Education within the last three years, you can have your certificate accredited towards a Global Online MBA. If credited, this will replace one elective module option. You will be entitled to a discount of 5% (stackable to a maximum of 10%) applied to the Global Online MBA fees.
This is subject to successful completion of the programme with a pass and admission to the Global Online MBA programme via the standard admission process. Successful completion of the Executive Education programme does not guarantee admission to the Global Online MBA.

Next steps
If you are offered an Imperial Business School scholarship and are subsequently offered a larger award by us, the larger one would supersede the first award and would not be in addition to it. Scholarships awarded by Imperial Business School are in the form of a reduction of the tuition fee. Therefore, if you receive another scholarship that pays the full tuition fee directly to Imperial, you cannot also receive a scholarship from the Business School.
