Archiving and preserving research data
All data supporting published research conclusions at Imperial must be preserved for at least 10 years from the end of the project that produced it - some data may need to be kept for longer, depending on relevant laws or funder policies.
When a project is nearing completion (or periodically during a longer project), you should consider what data needs to be retained and make sure a copy is kept in a safe place.
