Technical information about this website’s accessibility

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the known issues listed below.

Non accessible content

• Currently Turnitin Feedback Studio is not fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA. Only text only reports can be entirely dictated with screen reading software.
• In addition to this, both student and non-student workflows are also not fully compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA, however Turnitin has provided accessibility work arounds for student workflows. Full details for student accessibility workarounds can be found on the Turnitin website. 

Non compliance with the accessibility regulations

• Voice comments – Turnitin currently does not have the ability to transcribe instructor voice comments into text form. Students with hearing disabilities will not be able to consume the voice comments provided by the instructor.
• Student submission – The test of a student submission is image-based and cannot be read by a screen reader in its default view
• Inline comments – Turnitin currently doesn’t allow the ability to navigate to comments left inline within the paper with a keyboard or screen reader in its default interface.
• Non-student workflows – Strict conformance to WCAF 2.0 A and AA is limited to the student-facing interfaces. The Turnitin provided workarounds are for student workflow only.
