As we launch and establish the Imperial Black Alumni Network, we are looking for a group of enthusiastic volunteers to join a dedicated committee and help lead and contribute to the development of the network. We encourage alumni from all College faculties and industry sectors to apply. Your unique skills and perspectives will enable the committee to reflect our alumni community and deliver a programme that meets their diverse needs.

Find out more about the role and apply here >> We are particulary keen to receive applications from Black heritage STEM alumni.

Deadline for applications: Monday 6 June 2022
Location: We welcome applications from alumni in any location
Time Commitment: Committee members are required to attend the Network’s events and meetings, and support the organisation and delivery of its activities and events. We ask for a one year commitment from new committee members.

Join the Coffee & Coach programme as a coach and share your experience with early-career alumni

The Coffee & Coach programme offers free coaching-style sessions to early-career alumni who graduated from Imperial within the last ten years and are seeking career related support. The programme pairs two alumni, a recent graduate (coachee) and a more experienced alumnus (coach). Coaches will work with their coachee on a specific career-related challenge from June to November 2022.

We are looking for experienced alumni who can draw from their personal and professional experience and use coaching questions to help recent graduates with their career development. No prior coaching experience is required, training will be provided.

Deliver a virtual Alumni Masterclass for recent graduates

Our Masterclass series provides recent Imperial graduates with opportunities for professional development and networking. Combining thought leadership with the opportunity to develop and refine skills and personal attributes for success, our Masterclasses attract an international alumni audience from many different sectors and disciplines. Recent topics have addressed new ways of networking to remain visible in a virtual world of work and what it means to be a modern manager.

We are keen to hear from experienced alumni who would like to share their own expertise and deliver an interactive virtual masterclass on a professional development/career related theme. If you are passionate and knowledgeable about a subject or have a contemporary, new angle on a traditional theme, we would like to hear from you. If you have an idea in mind we can help you shape the content to develop this into a Masterclass.

If you're interested in taking part or would like to find out more, please contact Karine Madoian, Alumni Engagement and Events Coordinator, on alumni@imperial.ac.uk.

To help us expand our discussion boards with interesting thoughts and articles, and to spark conversation and engagement, we are looking for alumni with a passion for content creation and social media who are interested in contributing to our forums on a regular basis and participating in upcoming online events.
