Who Should Attend?

This workshop is designed for academic and professional services staff responsible for creating, managing, or supporting assessments in Canvas.

Whether you are new to Canvas assessments or looking to improve your existing practice, this session will provide practical guidance on assessment creation, submission management, grading, and feedback processes.

Participants will gain an overview of assessment tools available and explore best-practice approaches for delivering online assessments.

Prerequisite

A basic understanding of Canvas navigation is highly recommended.

Staff who are completely new to Canvas are encouraged to attend the Introduction to Canvas workshop before joining this session. Participants may find it helpful to review Canvas navigation resources before attending. See Instructure’s help page to familiarise yourself with Canvas navigation

Attending Training

Digital Education training is delivered online through Microsoft Teams. Once registered, joining instructions will be sent shortly before the workshop.
