About Global Summer School
Global Summer School welcomes more than 400 students, representing over 50 nationalities to Imperial every year. The two-week programme offers students a unique opportunity to develop their STEM subject knowledge and gain practical skills alongside likeminded students, while adding weight to their future university applications.

Clare Whelan - Global Summer School Development Manager
Building on the Global Summer School's track record of success, Clare is responsible for devising new ways to improve the programme and ensuring the best experience for the students. Clare is enthusiastic about developing new partnerships with schools, sponsors, institutions and industry to enhance student opportunities.

Claire Arnup - Global Summer School Manager
With over ten years of experience delivering global summer schools in UK universities, Claire has also volunteered and worked internationally, including South East Asia, Australia and Africa, with a passion for increasing international study and travel opportunities for young people. . As programme manager Claire is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of Global Summer School.

Min Min Ei - Summer School Assistant
Min assists with managing student applications from the initial stage to student certification. She works closely with the applicants, parents, faculties and International Students Support staff ensuring the programme has everything it needs to run successfully.
Born and raised in Myanmar, Min speaks fluent Burmese and previous to supporting Global Summer School students, Min focused on student and staff accommodation. In this team Min gained residential educational experience working with a global audience. Min is passionate about international educational and development.
