We are Anna Goodwin and Ella Robson and together we form the Faculty of Natural Sciences Student Wellbeing Advice Team (SWAT).

Throughout your studies, you may experience difficulties or circumstances that impact upon your wellbeing, or you may feel you need a space to talk.

We are here to support all students within the Faculty. The support we offer is tailored to your circumstances, and may cover topics such as:

  • Feeling stressed or overwhelmed
  • Family and/or relationship difficulties
  • Transition to university
  • Establishing a sense of belonging at Imperial
  • General guidance on managing your wellbeing

What can you expect from an appointment with us?

We offer confidential one-to-one guidance meetings to discuss your situation. We will meet with you to talk through your initial concerns and agree next steps.

The guidance meeting is a time to reflect on your own wellbeing. It is also an opportunity to:

  • Identify what is causing you concern and how you might like to be helped
  • Get help with setting personal or academic goals
  • Receive relevant information to assist with your query
  • Be introduced to wellbeing self-help strategies
  • Be referred to a relevant specialist service at Imperial

We are here to help you fulfil your potential during your time at Imperial.

Please note: If you are experiencing a crisis or think you may need urgent support, find out who to contact via the Student Support Zone crisis support webpages.
