This e-learning course aims to provide a foundational understanding of race equity. It particularly focuses on the higher education (HE) sector and aims to develop your knowledge while outlining potential next steps for you to take.

This e-learning course is open to all staff. No previous knowledge of race equality is required.

Access the course

How to access the course

You can complete this e-learning course at a time best for you. 

  1. Go to Blackboard Learn, enter your Imperial username and password and click Login
  2. Select Courses (left hand menu)
  3. Select Course Catalogue (located in the top right)
  4. Search for 'Introduction to race' in the search catalogue field and click Go
  5. Hover over the Course ID, select the drop down button (grey circle with white arrow), then select Enrol
  6. Select Submit (bottom right) to self-enrol on the course
  7. Select OK (bottom right) to continue directly to the course
