Overview
All new staff members from Academic & Research job families are invited to join us in this interactive 90-minute workshop to find out “what it’s really like to be an academic or research colleague at Imperial”. You will hear insights from senior academic and research colleagues and will gain practical information about how you can get off to the best start at Imperial. The sessions will run for 90 minutes once per term and are intended to supplement the standard Imperial Insights induction programme, which all new staff are encouraged to attend.
New Research staff are supported by the Early Career Researcher Institute (ECRI) - please see their pages for information about the support that is available to you.
The sessions will be delivered by experienced staff from each job family. Staff who have joined Imperial in the last couple of years will also join us to share their perspectives. These workshops will provide a great opportunity for networking, adding to the sense of welcome and belonging for new staff.
