Enhancing Visibility through Knowledge, Innovation and International Collaboration
The Imperial Latin America STEMB Network brings together teaching, research, and post-doc staff of Latin American background at all stages of their careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, Medicine, and Business across Imperial. It highlights their work, strengthens collaboration, and deepens Imperial’s engagement with the region. The network highlights the breadth of Latin American-led research as well as Latin America-focused research, from health and environment to engineering, data science, business and beyond.
By creating a visible, supportive and interdisciplinary forum, the Network aims to:
- Elevate the profile and recognition of staff of Latin American background
- Highlight their contribution to advancing scientific excellence
- Foster new pathways for co-creating research with partners in Latin America
- Promote a more inclusive approach to knowledge production
- Share the tangible impacts of our work on communities, policy and practice across Latin America and the world.
Together, by amplifying Latin American voices and strengthening collaboration and impact across the College and beyond, the Network contributes to an inclusive community at Imperial.
