Managing references in a LaTeX document is fairly straightforward and shouldn't involve much manual work. In this session, you will learn how to cite and reference sources in your LaTeX documents using BibTeX and BibLaTeX. You will also learn how to create and manage .bib files, including using reference management software. Participants should have a working knowledge of LaTeX.
By the end of this session you will be able to:
- cite and reference sources in LaTeX documents
- apply common citation styles, including Vancouver, Harvard and IEEE
- create .bib files from databases and other sources
