Albert Einsten (1963) by Doreen East Anziska 1920 - 1988.
This large bust of Einstein is located in the Group Study space on level 1 of the library. Very popular with students, we encourage you to take a photo with him and share it on your social media.

A resident of Brighton, Bob Meaton, graduated from Brighton College of Art and Craft in 1958. He became a full-time artist in 1983 and held his first public show at the Worthing Museum in 1987. He exhibited under the name Bob Brighton.

Students talked to their peers, to professional scientists and to crafters outside the scientific community. They drew on these conversations to create this quilt.
The quilt was made by Emma Brown, Signe Klange and Angela Wipperman, 2015, inspired by Grayson Perry's piece 'Comfort Blanket' (2014). It was made as coursework for the MSc Science Communication and you can find it on level 1 of the library opposite the Assistive Technology Room.
