About us

The library has quiet and group study areas.

There are 14 computers available for library users, including NHS staff, connected to the university network. We have 2 colour printer-copiers for A4 or A3 paper. These can also scan to email. There is Imperial College London wireless access for registered students and staff. NHS staff can access WiFi via the Cloud.

Next to the library is a computer cluster with an additional 62 computers for use by members of the Faculty of Medicine only. The cluster is open 7 days a week, from 08.00 to 22.00 and is accessible via swipe card.

Our collection covers general medicine, including medical textbooks, as well as nursing and professions allied to medicine.

Most journals are available electronically.

Print journals from 1990 onwards are on open access.

When the library is closed you can return books using the book returns box outside the library, available during building opening hours (08.00 - 22.00).
