Dr Sven Mikolon has been appointed Co-Director of the Gandhi Centre for Inclusive Innovation.
Dr Mikolon is Associate Professor of Marketing and has been with the Business School for ten years, focusing on bridging the literature of organisational psychology with that of consumer behaviour and strategic marketing, with a strong focus on the customer-company-interface.
He is an editorial board member of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and acts as ad hoc reviewer for the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science and for the Journal of Service Research.
Dr Mikolon joins Professor Sankalp Chaturvedi, Co-Director of the Gandhi Centre, in the Centre's mission to help organisations across the globe create tangible social impact, especially in the emerging economies. Social impact has never been more important globally, and Dr Mikolon’s expertise and vision will enable the Gandhi Centre to develop and grow, and help it to fully explore renewed areas of focus.
As such, the Centre is developing a number of new initiatives including the Social Transformation Lab, aiming to accelerate positive change by designing transformational solutions to societal challenges such as poverty, hunger and equality, and an associated project "Fundraising Analytics", using data analytics and AI capabilities to solve fundraising challenges faced by modern non-profit and charitable organisations.
