Duolingo – The World’s Most Popular Language-Learning Platform.
Duolingo is an American educational technology company that has 49.2 million users globally and trades on Nasdaq (DUOL). The company is known for its mobile application for foreign language-learning, but also offers learning apps in other skill areas as well high-stakes assessments through the Duolingo English Test. On its main app users can practice vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and listening skills. The company’s co-founder Luis von Ahn (see here) will be coming to London November 2022, and as part of his visit to the UK he’ll be coming to Imperial College London so don’t miss this great opportunity to hear him speak!
Imperial Experts on Digital Transformation, Entrepreneurship, and EdTech Weigh In Too!
In addition to Luis von Ahn and the Dean of Imperial College Business School, the event will feature expert input and insights from the Director of Imperial’s Centre for Digital Transformation, the Director of the Business School’s EdTech Lab – a unit that has spent the better part of 2 decades building a reputation for excellence in the development and delivery of innovative pedagogical approaches to teaching and learning, and the Head of the Imperial Enterprise Lab – a cross institution unit that brings together expertise and entrepreneurs from the STEM space together to launch and scale new ventures.
This event is open to Imperial College students, alumni, staff and faculty, as well members of the public who are passionate about new venture scaling, the world of educational technology and digital learning, and those who have expertise in the area of digital transformation.
