Emi Onozuka will explain the "DX thinking" approach, which overcomes the traps that companies tend to fall into in management reforms. According to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in Japan, DX is defined as "a company response to drastic changes in the business environment, utilising data and digital technologies to transform products, services, and business models based on the needs of customers and society. DX thinking also includes thinking circuits, values, and culture in management reforms aimed at redefining business models and business domains using digital technology.” Additionally, this approach also enables the definition and execution of initiatives looking forward to successfully implementing social and sustainable development best practices leading to increase earnings and delivering value for society.
Emi Onozuka is based in Japan and she has worked at J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs Asset Management Co., Ltd., and was the Executive Vice President COO of Monex Group Japan Catalyst Inc. She is currently CEO of Eminent Group. With over 20 years of experience in the investment management business and her role as a board member at both listed and private companies, she is an expert in corporate governance, sustainability, and strategy.
