The Riley Family Scholarship has been established to support the Business School’s vision of attracting brilliant minds to Imperial, regardless of their background or financial circumstances. One award of £53,500 is available to students joining us in September 2020.

To apply for this scholarship you must be a self-funded student who demonstrates exceptional academic merit and/or potential, and has come from a disadvantaged background and/or has overcome adversity.

To apply for one of these scholarships you must be a self-funded student who demonstrates exceptional academic merit and/or potential, and financial need that shows inability to otherwise enroll on the Full-Time MBA course at Imperial College Business School.

Entrepreneurship has always been a cornerstone of our Full-Time MBA programme at Imperial. We recognise the value that entrepreneurs who have experienced the full life-cycle of a start-up bring to the cohort, by enhancing peer learning with real-world experience.

We are delighted to offer a scholarship for Full-Time MBA candidates with a strong track record of entrepreneurship and the potential to launch new and exciting ventures in the future. The recipient of the Entrepreneurship Scholarship will be expected to be a dynamic player in the entrepreneurial community at Imperial, by sharing their experiences, contributing to existing initiatives and driving new ones.

Imperial has a thriving entrepreneurial ecosystem with initiatives including the Enterprise Lab a physical space found under the library that supports and fosters entrepreneurial activity; Imperial Innovations – the technology transfer office for Imperial College London; Imperial College Advanced Hackspace, who focus on the ideation and prototyping of ideas; and WE Innovate, which helps aspiring female entrepreneurs develop their ideas.

Imperial joins over 50 top global business schools and more than 90 corporate partners in supporting ROMBA’s mission to lead the way to equality in business education, in the workplace and throughout society.

We are pleased to offer a ROMBA Fellowship of £20,000 to an outstanding student joining the Full-Time MBA.

In addition to the financial support provided, ROMBA Fellows have access to a number of exclusive opportunities including:

  • Free registration for all Reaching Out events including the annual ROMBA Conference in October 2020, MBA treks and leadership summits

As a recipient of this award, you will take on a role in the leadership team of the LGBTQ+ Careers Club and represent the School as part of the Student Ambassador Scheme. We know how much hard work goes into preparing for the GMAT, and are delighted to offer the new GMAT Excellence scheme to recognise and reward the highest achievers, with a £5,350 award for candidates who achieve an overall score of 750 or higher.

How to apply

Candidates with an overall GMAT score of 750 who receive an offer for the Full-Time MBA programme commencing in September 2020 will automatically receive the award as a reduction to their tuition fees.

Candidates who achieve an overall GMAT score of 750 by taking (or re-taking) GMAT after receiving an offer, to either meet an offer condition or to improve their score, are also eligible for the award. Please note that you should contact the Admissions Team when you receive your score, as well as making your results available online.

Sainsbury Management Fellows’ Award

The Sainsbury Management Fellows’ Awards of £50,000 for Full-Time MBA students are open to UK/EU/EEA citizens who have a first degree in engineering, allied technology or science discipline and demonstrate a strong commitment to both UK engineering, business, and industry, and their respective engineering communities. The awards are administered by the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Eligibility

To apply for the scholarship, you will first need to have been successful in securing a place on the Imperial Full-Time MBA. You then must submit an application to the Royal Academy of Engineering by 1 June 2020. Interviews will take place in July 2020 for potential candidates.

Forté Fellowships

Imperial College Business School is a proud sponsor of the Forté Foundation, a non-profit organisation that champions women’s progression within business through access to education. We are pleased to offer Forté Fellowships to outstanding female students joining the Full-Time MBA. Awards of up to £26,750 are available.

In addition to the financial support provided, Forté Fellows have access to a number of unique resources from Forté Foundation including:

  • Participation in the annual Forté MBA Women’s Leadership Conference held in June in the United States (city tbc)

  • Access to exclusive networking groups of Forté Fellows, Forté Fellow Alumnae and sponsor companies on social media and through Forté Fellow listservs

  • Special e-introductions to Forté sponsor companies and inclusion in the Fellow résumé book, which is distributed to all sponsor companies

  • Free lifetime Forté Foundation Premium Membership

  • Women students can also apply for a stipend to attend the annual Forté MBA Women’s Leadership Conference, organised by the Forté Foundation. The conference is a great opportunity to meet like-minded women, develop leadership skills and build your professional network.

Thanks to a generous gift from the Lees Charitable Foundation, we are delighted to announce a new scholarship programme for 2019. The Lee Family – Imperial College Business School Scholarship has been established to support talented alumni of Imperial College London pursue their MBA at Imperial College Business School.

This full scholarship covers tuition fees and a maintenance grant to support living expenses, and is offered to Imperial College London students or alumni with exceptional academic performance in their undergraduate degree from Imperial and a strong overall application.

Candidates with exceptional academic performance in an Imperial undergraduate degree will be considered.

Eligibility

As the Lee Family – Imperial College Business School Scholarship covers the full tuition fees, the successful candidate will be ineligible for an additional Imperial alumni loyalty bursary and/or an additional GMAT Excellence award. If any such awards have already been received, the award of the Lee Family – Imperial College Business School Scholarship will supersede them.
