An interactive learning experience
MSc Business Analytics (online delivery, part-time) will be delivered, via The Hub, our purpose-built learning environment. This platform was developed from the ground-up by our award-winning Edtech Lab, to ensure we could design and deliver a high-quality business education online. Following the success of using The Hub to deliver our Global Online MBA and blended Executive MBA, we have rolled out the MSc Business Analytics (online delivery, part-time) on this platform from October 2018.
As an MSc Business Analytics (online delivery, part-time) student, it is likely that you will be balancing studying with other work and family commitments. You can expect around 15 hours of study in a typical study week, depending on your pace of study.
The Edtech Lab
The Edtech Lab is the Business School’s award-winning educational technology team and consist of specialists who cover various disciplines, including: instructional design, research, software development, and film production. They support the School’s aim to deliver teaching at the highest professional standard through pedagogically sound applications of technology and multimedia.
The Hub provides students with an interactive, engaging, and flexible learning environment which is accessible on any device, at any time. It is simple to use and provides convenient access to all programme materials, connects you with your peers and tutors, and tracks your progress throughout the programme.
Your online learning experience will include: high-quality interactive videos recorded in our studio with world-class faculty and guests, weekly live online sessions, online tutorials, interactive exercises, group and individual assignments, programming tasks, drop-in sessions and careers support.
The delivery of the programme via The Hub is very effective. The videos are delivered by the best faculty and are accompanied sometimes by interactive graphs that embed the concepts deep into your mind. In a traditional class we would not have had the luxury of replaying the content until we fully understand it. The videos are just the right duration to complete a concept in one sitting of 20-40 minutes.
