Accommodation information for applicants joining us in the academic year 2021/22 will be available in early April. 

Our halls are open for Academic Year 2020/21.

In response to COVID-19, we are developing a series of measures to ensure residents are safe, secure and are able to comfortably adhere to social distancing guidelines. These measures will require adaptations across our current accommodation portfolio.

During this period, we also don’t want to place pressure on you to make any decisions on accommodation before you have more information on your course and academic delivery.

Due to these factors, we anticipate that the accommodation application process will be taking place at a later date than is outlined below. Once we have complete details on what this revised process will be, we will contact all offer-holders and update this page accordingly.

How to apply for Silwood Park accommodation:

Early July 2020 - you will receive an invite to apply

Applicants who have firmly accepted an academic offer (regardless of whether you have a conditional offer or an unconditional offer) from the College will receive an email invite to apply for accommodation using our online system called AccHub. You can specify your preferred hall, room type and price and select 2 preferences* of accommodation.

* Please be advised that your two preferences are EQUALLY ranked, and cannot be distinguished in order of highest to lowest preference.
Please note that we are not able to guarantee accommodation for postgraduates at Silwood Park.

Early September 2020 - receiving your accommodation offer

All applications will be processed and rooms allocated.

When you receive your accommodation offer, you'll also receive your 'Licence to Occupy' which states your hall and room type. Please note that a room number will not be included in the Licence as this will be provided on your first invoice.

September 2020 - accepting your offer

Candidates who have secured a place in university accommodation will be notified of their offer by email. Offers must be accepted by the date specified in the email. Payment must be received by the deadline date or your allocated accommodation will be cancelled. 

What happens if I don't want to accept the accommodation I have been offered?"

If you do not wish to accept the offer, you will be able to reject this online. You will be asked to provide a reason why. This will enable us to reallocate the room. We regret that this is the only offer we can make and if you reject it, it is unlikely that we will be able to make an alternative offer.
