Become an accommodation tour guide
We are looking for friendly, enthusiastic students to welcome and show prospective students and their parents or guardians around the halls, including Eastside and Southside Halls during the university Open Days.
This year's Open Day events will be on:
- Wednesday 24 June 2026
- Thursday 25 June 2026
- Saturday 12 September 2026

The deadline for submission of applications will be Monday 4 May 2026.
Applicants must be able to work the full day on BOTH Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 June.
Please state on your application whether you are able to work these 2 days or the full 3 days.
You will be required to attend a compulsory, in-person training session which will take place during week commencing 8 June.
NOTE: Work days are between 8.00 and 16.00 each day. You will be provided with a T-shirt and lunch, as well as a daily wage.
Who can apply
Applicants who have undertaken training for the Rector's Ambassador Scheme and a Departmental Open Day will be given priority. However, we will welcome applications from anyone who is outgoing and passionate about promoting the College.
