Stay over the summer
Imperial students can stay in Evelyn Gardens and Kemp Porter, with availability ranging from one week to the whole summer.
Summer accommodation is available from Saturday 27 June until Saturday 19 September.
Summer Accommodation for Imperial Students
Experience a summer in London and take advantage of the location of our hall’s. Choose between Evelyn Gardens, nestled in the streets of Chelsea and Kemp Porter, our newest Hall of Residence located in North Acton.
Rooms can be booked in weekly blocks of between 1 to 12 weeks. Prices will vary depending on the length of your stay.
To be eligible for a place in halls over summer you must be enrolled as an Imperial student for the full duration of your stay. If you are a final year student at Imperial, you will not be eligible and you will need to arrange alternative accommodation within the private sector.
Please note that not all bedspaces in Kemp Porter are available to book, so availability for summer accommodation is limited. There will also be improvement works taking place at Kemp Porter during the Summer.
How to apply
Applications will open on Wednesday 29 April at 10.00.
Rooms are provided on a first-come-first-served basis and allocation of specific halls and rooms are at the discretion of the Student Accommodation Office (based on availability), therefore we recommend that you apply early. Please ensure that you apply a minimum of 10 days prior to the beginning of your stay, due to offer turnaround time. Offers will be sent via email and will be subject to registration checks.

More about the Halls
Holbein, Southwell, and Willis Jackson residences in Evelyn Gardens will be available for Imperial students over the summer. Evelyn Gardens is set around a traditional London townhouse square in Chelsea and is a short walk from South Kensington campus.

*Please note that Evelyn Gardens does not have a lift in the halls.
Kemp Porter bedspaces are arranged in cluster flats each with their own ensuite bathroom. The Hall features common room areas and outdoor spaces. Kemp Porter is located a two minute walk from North Acton station on the Central Line.
Note to applicants: The area around North Acton is undergoing significant development, including an area of construction next to Kemp Porter. We work closely with developers to ensure disruption is kept to a minimum, but you should anticipate some level of noise and construction traffic.
There will also be improvement works will taking place within the building. Residents should be prepared for some disruption and will be kept informed of any upcoming works.
