As part of the feasibility assessment, the CI/PI/study team will prepare a costing of the trial, to ensure that enough funding will be available to complete the trial successfully.
Trials are typically a major financial investment, and as a result securing funding can be a lengthy process. Major funders will need to be assured that the proposed research is important and relevant, well designed, feasible and scientifically valid, and as well as offering value for money.
All proposals for external research funding are costed and priced on the InfoEd Proposal Development system. The study team can get support in doing this from the relevant Joint Research Office team (contact details below).
