We offer a range of taught programmes that provide an opportunity to study in a way that is centred on actual practice and takes account of both disciplinary and institutional context

Flexible study designed to meet the needs of busy staff can provide qualifications at PG Certificate, PG Diploma and Master’s level.

We also provide the Supporting Learning and Teaching Pathway (SLTP) for staff involved in supporting student learning but who are not full-time academic staff of the College.

The PG Cert is the first stage of a three-stage approach to the study of teaching and learning in the University setting. It is a practice-centred flexible course that develops participants as reflective practitioners.

The Diploma follows on from the PG Certificate and is practice-based, but allows and encourages participants to expand their knowledge of teaching beyond their actual experience through critical engagement with wider educational theory
