Making the most of one-off teaching
This workshop isn’t currently running online, dates for 2021-22 will be advertised from August. Please subscribe to the EDU newsletter to receive updates on forthcoming EDU offerings.
Who should attend?
This workshop is aimed at those who lecture or teach on a 'one-off' basis, as a contributor to an undergraduate, postgraduate or short course. The workshop considers practical issues of designing and delivering such teaching sessions, as well as wider concerns affecting those whose teaching work is episodic. This may include issues of career development, quality control and communication with fellow teachers.
If you have previously taken the workshop 'Issues and techniques for one-off teaching sessions', there is no need to take this workshop.
Imperial STAR Framework
This workshop is particularly suitable for those seeking recognition at D1 or D2 level of the Imperial STAR Framework. It addresses the following dimensions of the UK Professional Standards Framework (UKPSF) (at Higher Education Academy): A1, A2, A3, A5, K1, K5, K6, V3, V4.
