Clinical educators based at Imperial’s partner Trusts and GP practices who contribute to the delivery of Imperial’s MBBS programme can make a submission to be considered for an honorary association with the university, in support and recognition of their contribution to undergraduate education.

Association benefits

An honorary title recognises you as a member of the Faculty of Medicine community, as well as the valuable contributions you make to clinical education.

An honorary title comes with an Imperial ICT account, providing clinical educators with access to Imperial’s systems and resources to support your teaching activity, including our bespoke curriculum map, Sofia, and a range of information and content on our core internal platform, MedLearn

You will receive direct communications from the School to your Imperial email address to help support your experience. Bulletins are issued multiple times a year with key information about School of Medicine news and activities, events and opportunities, and reminders of the resources available to you via your association.

In support of your development, you will also gain access to Imperial’s vast Library resources, including journals, and opportunities to undertake additional training or learning through Imperial’s Education Development Unit.

You will also have the option to use your Imperial credentials to create an Imperial Profile personal web page, through which you can showcase your activities and connect with other members of the Imperial community.
