Assessment and feedback on performance can be used as powerful tools to motivate and improve learning.

This introductory, online Faculty of Medicine workshop is aimed at staff who are new to teaching or those who wish to review their existing methods of assessing and providing feedback to learners. The workshop is interactive in nature and will explore how and why assessment and feedback can be used to develop students' learning. It will also provide opportunities for participants to practise the skills needed in facilitating feedback effectively.

NB This workshop has considerable overlap with Introduction to Assessment for Learning. Duplicating attendance at these workshops is likely to be unrewarding.
