Scholarships for UK or EU students starting full-time or part-time Master's programmes in the Faculty of Medicine

The Faculty of Medicine is offering up to ten fee-only scholarships for students starting full-time or part-time Master’s programmes in October 2017. Applications have now closed for 2017/18.

Dean's Master's Scholarships and the Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship

The Dean’s Master’s Scholarship

Up to eight scholarships available for applicants to study an MSc or MRes course run by the Faculty of Medicine beginning in October 2017.

The Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship

A new scholarship programme for the Faculty of Medicine, offering up to two scholarships for lab-based MSc or MRes Master’s Programmes.

The deadline for applications has now passed for 2017/18Applicants who applied before the deadline will be given a decision by Friday 30 June 2017.

Both scholarships are of equal value and run by the Faculty. Students will automatically be considered for both scholarship programmes (where eligible) when making an application. Applications are invited from outstanding candidates from the UK, the EU, and current Home/EU Imperial College London students who have the potential to become leaders in their field.

Home/EU students

  • Full tuition fees for a Master’s programme studied full- or part-time
  • Up to eight places available on the Dean's Master's Scholarship, available for MSc and MRes programmes
  • Up to two places on The Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship for laboratory-based MSc or MRes programmes

The Faculty offers a wide range of Master's degree programmes, as well as PG Certificates and Diplomas, and all students will belong to the Graduate School, which provides a comprehensive Transferable Skills Programme.
