FoM Master's scholarships
Scholarships for Home and Overseas students starting FT or PT Master's programmes at the Faculty of Medicine in the next academic year
The Faculty of Medicine offers two types of scholarships for students starting full-time or part-time Master’s programmes in the upcoming academic year of study. You can find updated information about how to apply, eligibility and the link to the application form on these pages.
Applications to the Faculty of Medicine Master's Scholarship scheme for 2022/23 are now closed. Late applications will not be considered. Please revisit this site later in the year for information on applying for the 2023/24 academic year.
Please ensure that you have applied for a place on a Faculty of Medicine Master's programme before applying for a scholarship. Failure to do so may render your scholarship application invalid.
Dean's Master's Scholarships and the Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship
The Dean’s Master’s Scholarship
Up to 10 scholarships of £10,000 available for Home and Overseas applicants to study a Master's programme run by the Faculty of Medicine beginning in October.
The Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship
Up to three scholarships covering the full tuition fee (at the ‘Home’ fee rate only) for Home and Overseas applicants to study a Faculty of Medicine lab-based MSc or MRes Programme beginning in October.
Application for the scholarship scheme is made by a separate form, and students will automatically be considered for both scholarship programmes (where eligible) when making an application. Applications are invited from outstanding candidates from the UK and Overseas and current Imperial College London students who have the potential to become leaders in their field.
The Faculty offers a wide range of Master's degree programmes, as well as PG Certificates and Diplomas, and all students will belong to the Graduate School, which provides a comprehensive Transferable Skills Programme.
Please see our How to apply page for further information and the application form. For any queries not covered here, please see our FAQs page, or email our Faculty Postgraduate Team (firstname.lastname@example.org).
Please note that there are other scholarships offered by Schools, Institutes and Departments that make up the Faculty of Medicine. These are separate from the Faculty Master's Scholarships described here and entail a different application process. For other such scholarships, please see our scholarships page.
Please ensure you read our eligibility criteria before making an application.
