Scholarships for Home and Overseas students starting FT or PT Master's programmes at the Faculty of Medicine in the academic year 2022/23

The Faculty of Medicine offers two types of scholarships for students starting full-time or part-time Master’s programmes in the upcoming academic year of study 2022/23. You can find updated information about how to apply, eligibility and the link to the application form on these pages.

Applications to the Faculty of Medicine Master's Scholarship scheme for 2022/23 are now open. Closing date for applications is Tuesday, 26 April 2022 at 23.59pm. Please ensure that you have applied for a place on a Faculty of Medicine Master's programme before applying for a scholarship. Failure to do so may render your scholarship application invalid.

Late applications will not be considered.

Dean's Master's Scholarships and the Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship

The Dean’s Master’s Scholarship

Up to 10 scholarships of £10,000 available for Home and Overseas applicants to study a Master's programme run by the Faculty of Medicine beginning in October 2022.

The Dr Jean Alero Thomas Scholarship

Up to three scholarships covering the full tuition fee (at the ‘Home’ fee rate only) for Home and Overseas applicants to study a Faculty of Medicine lab-based MSc or MRes Programme beginning in October 2022.

Application for the scholarship scheme is made by a separate form, and students will automatically be considered for both scholarship programmes (where eligible) when making an application. Applications are invited from outstanding candidates from the UK and Overseas and current Imperial College London students who have the potential to become leaders in their field.

The Faculty offers a wide range of Master's degree programmes, as well as PG Certificates and Diplomas, and all students will belong to the Graduate School, which provides a comprehensive Transferable Skills Programme.
