OPEN FOR RECRUITMENT
We are looking for healthy volunteers aged 65 - 75 years old to take part in an RSV Challenge Study.
The study involves a screening visit and an inpatient quarantine stay, during which participants will be deliberately given RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) and carefully monitored for 11 days.
This is followed by 3 follow-up visits over a 3-month period.
Some participants will also attend a baseline visit approximately 2 weeks before admission for a baseline bronchoscopy procedure.
Depending on the study group, participants may undergo up to 3 bronchoscopy procedures, which will be fully explained by the study team.
If you are eligible and want to take part, you will be reimbursed up to £2,700 for your time and inconvenience, depending on the study group.
