AutoCatX
AutoCatX is DIGIBAT’s dedicated platform for automated electrocatalysis research, designed to accelerate catalyst discovery and performance optimisation through high-throughput and data-driven experimentation.
The system integrates liquid handling, temperature control, electrochemical testing, auto sampleing, and real-time data capture within a single workflow. This enables researchers to perform reproducible experiments, systematically vary reaction conditions, and generate high-quality datasets for machine-learning-assisted analysis.
AutoCatX supports a wide range of electrocatalytic reactions—including biomass oxidation, CO₂ reduction—and is being developed towards closed-loop operation by incorporating inline analytical instruments (such as GC and HPLC) for automated product detection.

Online HPLC - Shimadzu NexFV
A state-of-the-art liquid chromatography system directly interfaced with our AutoCatX electrocatalysis platform. Equipped with both an SPD-M40 Photodiode Array (PDA) Detector and an ELSD-LT III Light Scattering Detector, the Nexera FV provides comprehensive, automated sampling and real-time quantification of both UV-active and non-UV-active reaction products. By seamlessly linking electrochemical testing with universal product analysis, this system generates the highly structured, continuous data streams required for closed-loop AI optimization and accelerated catalyst discovery.
