The Education Office Forum is a series of termly events hosted by the central Education Office. The Forum is an opportunity to gain insight into the wide range of projects and activities, related to Imperial’s Class of 2030 initiative which incorporates the Learning and Teaching Strategy and Imperial Experience Academic Strategy project, that the Education Office delivers and supports. Information about previous editions of the Forum is available on this page. Colleagues from across the university, whether they are directly involved in teaching and learning at Imperial or have a general interest in it, are welcome to attend. Summary
There was an overview of the key roles of the Education Office such as overseeing the delivery of the Class of 2030 strategic initiative (the Learning & Teaching Strategy and the Imperial Experience Academic Strategy Project), and managing the Education & Student Experience Committee and the 11 subcommittees. Information was provided on the Learning and Teaching Strategy Seed Funding, which comprises of a unified call for three funds: the President's Excellence Fund, the Pedagogy Transformation Fund and Digital Innovation Fund. Funded projects are expected to further Imperial’s aims and align with the Learning and Teaching Strategy. An update was given on the Assessment and Feedback Project, which encompasses a commitment to review our assessment practices and workload to reduce assessment burden on both staff and students. Additionally, colleagues were advised that they could get involved in the Education Office through signing up for the Learning and Teaching newsletter by emailing education.office@imperial.ac.uk attending Talking Teaching or joining a Special Interest Group.

Summary
There was an overview of Imperial's Learning Analytics team, which is based in the central Education Office, followed by demonstrations of the Course Monitoring Dashboard and Module Teacher Dashboard. You can register your interest in the team's work via this form. This was followed by a presentation on Imperial Thrive, a pre-sessional residential and wraparound support programme for widening participation students. An update was provided on the Generative AI principles. The work has been led by the AI Futurists team. There was also a celebration of five years of I-Explore, Imperial's portfolio of degree credit modules that provides students with opportunity to tackle a subject area outside of their core discipline. Finally, there was a presentation about Attributes and Aspirations, an online self-guided programme designed to help students adapt to their course, study better and plan for their future.

Summary
Members of the Education Office presented an overview of Imperial Experience, an academic strategy initiative which adopts a holistic approach to student experience across the full student lifecycle. There was also a from the Education Office and ICU highlighting the new Students as Partners framework developed in conjunction with ICU as part of their advocacy and influencing remit. Finally, there was an update from the Education Office about changes to the Student Experience Survey.
