"Imaging has become a key tool for unlocking the molecular secrets of disease. It can be used to follow and evaluate novel treatments in life, reduce the number of subjects required in clinical studies and contribute to personalised care. " Prof. Martin Wilkins, Director of the National Institute of Health Research / Wellcome Trust Imperial Clinical Research Facility and Head of the Department of Medicine, Imperial College London
