Imperial College London is offering Joint Graduate Loan-Scholarships, in partnership with COLFUTURO, to up to eight Colombian students admitted to a one-year full-time Master's course for the 2026-27 academic year.
What does the scholarship cover?
Imperial College London will cover 25% of tuition fees for a maximum of eight eligible students selected as beneficiaries of the COLFUTURO Programa Crédito Beca. The 8 selected will be notified at the end of June 2026. The Imperial offer of the 25% of tuition fees will be conditional on them having accepted and formalized Colfuturo's offer of the Programa Crédito Beca (Loan-Scholarship Program) by 31 July 2026.
COLFUTURO offers each student a Scholarship-Loan of up to $50,000 USD. You can find full details on the COLFUTURO Programa Crédito Beca here.

How to apply
To apply for a COLFUTURO & Imperial College London Joint Graduate Loan-Scholarship, follow the steps below:
- Apply directly to COLFUTURO for the Programa Crédito Beca (Loan-Scholarship Program). The application form and terms and conditions can be found on the COLFUTURO Programa Crédito Beca webpage once the call opens. Important to note: Applications will open on 6 January 2026 and close at 23:59 (Colombia time) on 2 March 2026. COLFUTURO will notify applicants whether they have been successful by 14 May 2026.
- If your application to the COLFUTURO Programa Crédito Beca is successful and you wish to be considered for a 25% contribution of fees from Imperial College London, search for the course you want to apply for. Applicants can apply to any one-year full-time Master’s level programme, excluding MBAs and the joint MA (RCA) / MSc Global Innovation Design (GID) or any other jointly run program.
- Create an online account and submit your application through our application portal as soon as possible* – use our guide on How to apply for additional help. (*Important: Some departments have application rounds for their postgraduate taught courses, with fixed application dates throughout the year. Please check carefully the Deadlines webpage for further details). For COLFUTURO's selection process it could be beneficial to have an offer of admissions from Imperial College London for the 2026-27 academic year by 31 March 2026 so we strongly advise applicants to submit an admission application by Wednesday, 7 January 2026 (round 2).
- In order to be considered for the 25% contribution towards fees, you must receive an offer of admissions from Imperial College London for the 2026-27 academic year by 19 May 2026.
Application fee

Assessment
Imperial College Selection Panel will assess applications on academic merit and/or potential through the standard admission process.
