How to register for the GAMSAT

To register for the GAMSAT you will need to follow the following steps:

You can take the test at a GAMSAT test centre and these are located in Australia, Ireland, the UK, New Zealand and Singapore. You can find your nearest one on the GAMSAT website.

We recommend registering early as test centre spaces fill up quickly and you may have to travel should the one nearest you become fully booked. When all spaces at a location are filled, the option will be removed from the list.

Items needed for your test session

You are required to only bring essential items, as neither the test centre nor the GAMSAT Office can be held responsible for the security of your belongings.

Essential items needed:

  • Your admission ticket
  • Acceptable current and photo-being identification document
  • Erasable whiteboard and marker or pens/pencils, pencil sharpener, eraser

Optional items:

  • A clear water bottle (no labels attached)
  • Test takers for whom English is not their first language, a printed bilingual dictionary may be used for some sections
  • Disposable earplugs

GAMSAT costs

There is a registration fee for the GASMAT. The registration fee you pay varies depending on the country where you are taking the test.
