How to apply

Follow the steps below to apply for undergraduate study at Imperial.

  1. Create an account in UCAS Hub

    Get started by registering an account in UCAS Hub. You cannot apply to us directly; we also don’t accept the Common Application.

  2. Choose a course

    Choose from 100+ courses in science, engineering, medicine and business – check you meet the entry requirements for courses of interest.

  3. Write your personal statement

    This is your chance to talk about you, and why you want to apply for the course(s) you've chosen.

  4. Apply by 31 January 2024

    Applications for our 2024 courses (except Medicine) should arrive at UCAS by 18.00 (UK time) on this date.

    Sign in to your UCAS Hub account at any time to check your application's progress.

    When your last application decision comes in, you will need to reply to any offers you get.

    Before you can register for your course, pay tuition fees (if you’re self-funding), or receive a CAS to support your visa application (if you need one), you will need to show you have met all your offer conditions.

If you need a visa to study in the UK, you'll need to provide a Confirmation of acceptance for studies (CAS) with your visa application. We'll issue this automatically after you have met your offer conditions.

Imperial Bursary

Home students applying for undergraduate study can receive up to £5,000/year for every year that their course lasts, on top of any government funding they may also be eligible for.
