Eligibility criteria

To be considered for this scholarship, candidates must:

Have been assessed Overseas fee status
Starting a MRes or PhD Course in October 2024
Have an offer of study by 1 July 2024.
Be nominated for the scholarship by the Department by 5 pm on Monday 1 July 2024

Please note: This scholarship is not available to continuing students.

Application process

There is no separate application form, but informing your department about your interest in being considered for this scholarship is recommended.

Applicants must have received an offer of admission by 1 July 2024.
Departments will nominate two candidates in July 2024.

Candidates will be notified of an outcome no later than 30 August 2024.

This scholarship provides £10,000 towards accommodation costs

PhD - 3 years
