Overall awards
Gold: First place champions
The overall winners of the Hackathon are awarded the prestigious Imperial Hackathon trophy. Each team member will also receive:
- an Imperial Hackathon gold medal
- a personal invitation to attend the Global Natural Science and Innovation Competition Finals at Imperial's South Kensington Campus in London
- HK$8,000 towards travel expenses to London for you and an accompanying chaperone
- letter of recommendation from Imperial and winner's certificate
Silver: Second place team
Our second place team receives the Imperial Hackathon second place trophy. Each team member will also receive:
- an Imperial Hackathon silver medal
- an Amazon voucher worth HK$1,000
- a letter of recommendation from Imperial and winner's certificate
Bronze: Third place team
The third placed team receives the Imperial Hackathon third place trophy. Each team member will also receive:
- an Imperial Hackathon bronze medal
- an Amazon voucher worth HK$1,000
- a letter of recommendation from Imperial and winner's certificate

For the solution with the greatest potential to make a tangible difference in society.
Best technical solution
Awarded for outstanding technical execution, engineering, or coding excellence.
Most innovative concept
For the boldest and most original idea that pushes boundaries and rethinks the norm.
Best presentation/pitch
Recognising clarity, storytelling, and the ability to inspire the judges.
Best startup star award
For the idea with the strongest business potential and scalability.
