Pitch your solution. Create a video pitch to tell our experts about your solution for the chance to compete in our STEMathon final in Mumbai.


Why take part

As a STEMathon 2026 participant, you’ll get the chance to develop your science and entrepreneurial skills, engage in a hands-on project, challenge yourself and work with other top students from across India.  

You’ll also be in with a chance of winning one of our STEMathon prizes, including the opportunity to compete at Imperial’s annual Global Natural Science and Innovation Competition in London.


Who’s eligible

STEMathon 2026 is for teams of three students aged between 15 and 17 from the same school and branch in grades 10 to 12.

Schools that are members of the following school boards are eligible to take part: 

  • Council for Indian School Certificate Examination – Indian School Certificate  
  • Central Board of Secondary Education – All India Senior School Examination  
  • International Baccalaureate Diploma Program
  • Cambridge Assessment International Education

For safeguarding, you’ll also need a teacher to support and chaperone your team.

Registration fee

All teams are required to pay a registration fee of £150 (GBP) to take part. This is equivalent to £50 (GBP) for each team member.

The registration fee covers our costs for the administration of the competition.  

Teams invited to take part in the STEMathon 2026 final in Mumbai will be required to cover their own accommodation and travel costs.
